I've been practicing in the upstate of South Carolina since 2000. I spent most of that time in a large employment defense practice, litigating employment cases, handling administrative charges, and counseling employers on compliance and contract issues. Four years ago, I moved into a smaller practice where I mostly represented individual employees and handled general business litigation matters. I have tried cases in state and federal courts and have handled appeals at all levels.
In May 2018 I established this firm. I represent individuals and companies in employment and business litigation. I handle all types of appeals. In addition to the litigation practice, I provide advice and counseling concerning employment-related agreements such as non-compete and non-solicit agreements, employment contracts, and severance agreements.
My wife and I moved to Greenville in 2000. We are raising two children and are members of Westminster Presbyterian Church. I have served on community boards such as Mental Health America of Greenville County and YMCA Camp Greenville, as well as professional organizations such as the South Carolina Bar Ethics Advisory Committee and Judicial Qualifications Committee. I play rec league ice hockey and have volunteered as a youth coach for the Greater Greenville Hockey Association.
